Technology of Biotracer

Biotracer Label -Textile Lifecycle Indicator Technology

Leafclock is built on a bio-responsive color-changing system designed to make textile replacement visible, intuitive, and reliable. Instead of measuring hygiene directly, Leafclock tracks real-world usage and aging factors that lead to textile degradation. Through gradual color change, it helps users recognize when a product has reached the end of its optimal lifecycle — and should be replaced.

This makes textile management simpler for consumers, and more predictable for brands.

Biotracer Label -Textile Lifecycle Indicator Technology

  • Washing & Drying

Repeated washing and drying activate the gradual release and transformation of active groups within the label, driving the color shift.

  • Light Exposure

Daily exposure to light accelerates the aging process and contributes to visible color evolution.

  • Wear & Friction

Friction from wearing and handling supports molecular restructuring during normal use.

  • Time & Environmental Aging

Long-term exposure to air, moisture, and external contamination continuously influences the label's response.

How the Color Change Works

At the core of Leafclock is our Lifetracer bio-tracing technology.

The label contains multi-target, environment-responsive nanomaterials. Under repeated washing, light exposure, wear, and aging, the active molecular groups gradually reorganize and transform.

This process results in a controlled, irreversible color transition — typically from yellow to purple — that reflects accumulated usage rather than a single event.

Because the change is progressive, users can visually recognize early, mid, and end stages of a product's lifecycle instead of relying on memory or guesswork.

Configurable Usage Models

Leafclock is not limited to a fixed usage cycle.

The color-change speed and transition curve can be adjusted to match different product categories and usage scenarios. Brands may choose different models based on fabric type, wear intensity, or recommended replacement timelines.

For example, one product may require a shorter lifecycle reminder, while another may be designed for extended use. Leafclock allows these differences to be reflected visually — without adding complexity for the end user.

This flexibility makes the technology suitable for a wide range of textile applications.

Designed for Real Products

Built for Daily Wear and Repeated Washing

Leafclock labels are developed for daily wear and repeated washing. They are soft, skin-friendly, and securely integrated into garments. The labels maintain their structure and appearance through extensive washing cycles and do not affect comfort or fabric performance.

All materials are selected with safety, durability, and long-term usability in mind, ensuring the label remains reliable throughout the product's intended lifespan.
